Our Story


In 2018, I quit my job as a television writer producer in New York. We packed up our car and moved our family to Austin, TX. We needed a change of pace and the kids needed space to grow. Since then I’ve become a food blogger, major home baker and a confectionary connoisseur in our new town.

Through my baking blog, I set out to make my idea of the best cookies out there. I wanted to combine my love of classic American baked goods and the Asian flavors that my family and I grew up eating in NYC. After years of research and testing countless batches in my own kitchen, I finally discovered something that I couldn’t wait to share. The most flavorful cookies were made by aging the dough and by using all the amazing local ingredients from around Texas.
